Former WWE heavyweight champion Rey Mysterio is set to make his full time come back to the company next week and fans in the UK will be able to catch him live next month.

WWE is full of nostalgia for many of us. At some point or another in our childhood we tuned in , the first drama series we watch like a gateway to Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad, only with more sex and drugs.

The company know how much everyone harks back to their childhood and make sure we're never too far away from having something to look wistfully at.

On Saturday the company's massive money making show in Australia, Super Show-down, was headlined by Triple H vs Undertaker, to take us back at least a decade in time.

That match merely served to set up a tag match between Trips and long time partner Shawn Michaels against Taker and his 'brother' Kane in Saudi Arabia next month.

But the nostalgia won't end there as next Tuesday WWE bring us Smackdown 1000 where Rey Mysterio will return. It's now been announced that Mysterio is back full time:

Mysterio's return next week will see him face Shinsuke Nakamura at Smackdown 1000.

UK fans will be able to catch the master of the 619 at the beginning of November and he'll be in Cardiff on November 3rd, Aberdeen on the 4th and Birmingham on the 5th.

That means he won't be on Monday Night RAW in Manchester but could be at Smackdown Live on the 26th.

The 'blue brand' celebrates its 1000th edition next week, having started in the Attitude Era in August 1999, and will feature some legendary names.

As well as Mysterio and Taker the show will also feature the return of Dave Batista and Ric Flair to join Randy Orton and Trips in an Evolution reunion, confusing as WWE are putting on an all women's show called Evolution at the end of the month.

There are rumours that Edge, John Cena, Chris Jericho and even The Rock could make appearances on the landmark show.

Could they cram any more nostalgia into the show? We can only hope.
