There is no love lost between Jorge Masvidal and Kamaru Usman and Gamebred proved that on Friday afternoon during their face off, ahead of their fight on Saturday.

Masvidal has come in as a late replacement for Gilbert Burns to face welterweight champion Usman at UFC 251, in a fight that everyone was hoping for.

On Fight Island several months of a war of words will finally come to an end on the show's main event but Masvidal didn't wait for a chance to get inside his opponent's head.

The two men met for an intense face-off on Friday with the challenger saying, "I'm gonna have fun with your ass tomorrow...if he turns up."

Brazilian Burns had made himself number one contender to Usman's title with six wins in-a-row, with his most recent victory coming against former champion Tyron Woodley in May.

However last week he tested positive for Covid-19 so was ruled out of the fight and it looked unlikely there would be a replacement with such short notice.

Masvidal, who won three huge fights in 2019 but was in the middle of a contract dispute with Dana White, stepped up though and has had to go through an extreme weight loss this week but came in at 170 lbs on Friday.

The pair have previously swapped words on social media and in interviews, fueling their rivalry, and at Super Bowl weekend they nearly came to blows during a press event and had to be kept apart by UFC officials.

Gamebred talking about 'having fun' with the Nigerian Nightmar's 'ass' during the fight may have something to do with their war of words.

The 35-year-old has claimed in the build up that the champion 'crossed the line' when talking about the challengers 'butthole' and about his ethnicity

We can't wait to see what happens on Saturday night when they finally get it on. Who do you think will win? Let us know in the comments.
