What Dillon Danis Did After UFC 229 Fight Is Crazy

Dillon Danis found himself in the middle of a fight with Khabib Nurmagomedov after the Russian had beaten Conor McGregor at UFC 229.

Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov didn't become any more famous after Saturday night's UFC 229 main event but Dillon Danis certainly did. What he did after the fight was a little bit crazy.

The world knew who Conor McGregor was before Saturday night. Whether you like the brash Irishman or not he certainly makes sure that he has a reach that transcends the sport.

Simply by being the man McGregor wanted to attack when he attacked a bus in New York earlier this year Khabib Nurmagomedov was also pretty well known, certainly among followers of sport, no matter how casual their support of UFC.

The pair really hit the headlines this week and not because of what happened in the octagon but because Khabib jumped outside of it to start a fight with the Irishman's jiu jitsu coach.

It's pretty fair to say that most people wouldn't have known who he was before the fight and most people wouldn't have heard of Dillon Danis before Khabib's infamous leap.

Danis quickly became the name on everyone's lips and most people might have chosen to stay out of the limelight. However UFC fighter Brian Ortega revealed to TMZ that he spotted Danis out clubbing alone after the controversial incident, saying:

"He came up to me and he was like 'hey man.' At first I was like damn, what are you doing here - especially alone.

"I was like this guy's a savage right now. He had a hood on, trying to be low key, but he came up to me, he was respectful, he was like 'hey man, you're holding it down for the jiu jitsu community, you're doing your thing, I admire you, I appreciate it.'

"He was cool about the whole situation.

"He wouldn't really tell me much [about the brawl]. He was like, 'yeah man, s**t got crazy. These guys started throwing, I started throwing.'

"One of his eyes was swollen. He was just telling me he got a concussion, so he got down too man. After that, he was going to walk out by himself, and I told my boy, I go 'make sure this guy gets out of here alright,' cause, you know, there seemed to be some Russians in that club.

"So I was like 'make sure this guy gets out safely.' Cause the last thing you want is this guy getting jumped going out."

Most people would have just gone home after that kind of night but clearly Danis is ready to go out no matter what and no matter if he's got anyone to go out with.

Has anyone's stock ever risen so quickly without really doing much before
