Amanda Nunes hopes to continue her reputation as the UFC's 'greatest of all time' when she faces Felicia Spencer at UFC 250 on Saturday night, but she wasn't always the GOAT.
The bantamweight and featherweight champion defends her 145 lb title on Saturday as she looks to continue to prove why she's the best in the world, and probably best ever.
However, six years ago Cat Zingano was able to not only beat the Brazilian but left her looking extremely worse for wear, after their meeting at UFC 178.
Nunes dominated their fight early but Zingano turned things around in the second round and in the third she forced the referee to stop the fight when the American rained down a series of unanswered elbows and punches as she opened up the eye of her Brazilian opponent.

Since that fight the 32-year-old dual weight champion has easily won her next 10 fights beating some of the best of all time on the way.
She won the bantamweight title from Meisha Tate in 2016 at UFC 200 before beating Ronda Rousey in just 48 seconds in her first defence.
After that came a second win against Valentina Shevchenko, winning the featherweight title off Cris Cyborg in December 2018 and then stopped Holly Holm earlier this year
Most people wouldn't fancy Spencer's chances of repeating what Zingano did, and in the process ending Nunes' incredible dominance of two divisions, but the Canadian is confident in her ability.

"I'm confident that I'm a great mixed martial artist," Spencer said recently, "I might not be the most impressive athlete. I might not be the most impressive striker, wrestler or even grappler. But I feel like in the cage I know how to put it together in a great way."
"I'm not blindly confident. I just know what I'm capable of."
Asked recently by MMAJunkie who she thought the greatest woman of all time in the UFC was Miesha Tate had no problem answering, "For me, it's been Amanda Nunes," said former champ Tait, "She's just on another level. She's super legitimate. She hits like a ton of bricks.

"And it's just incredible what she's been able to do with the bantamweight division and what she's done dipping her toes in the featherweight division. Really, the way she took out Cyborg was so mind-blowing. It was very impressive.
"I think for me that would be an easy pick."
