Khabib Nurmagomedov caused havoc at ringside by jumping into the crowd on Saturday night after beating Conor McGregor but it's not just the authorities he has to worry about, his own dad is also after him.

The scenes that followed UFC 229 were pretty unimaginable. Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov had a very fierce and bitter personal rivalry but it was expected to end in the octagon, not outside of it.

At the culmination of the match, after McGregor had tapped out to become Khabib's 27th victim, the Russian jumped over the top of the octagon attacking Dillon Danis whilst members of Khabib's team jumped into the octagon to attack the Irishman.

They were very ugly scenes and it led to three people from the victor's team being arrested before the Notorious decided against pressing charges, partially because of his involvement in the incident.

After the fight Khabib apologised to the athletic commission for his actions but not to McGregor or Danis and could still be in trouble with the UFC.

However it's not Dana White or the police or anyone else he should be worried about but actually his dad.

Speaking to Russian outlet Ren TV, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov revealed how annoyed he is at his son, saying:

"I will be very hard on this. I warned him. For me, discipline comes first.

"You do whatever you want in the octagon but outside this is the border of civilians where there are children, women and strangers.

"Over the octagon should be a peaceful existence."

UFC president Dana White revealed it wasn't him or the company the Khabib had to worry about when it came to discipline but the Nevada Athletic Commission saying, "The Nevada State Athletic Commission is going to go after him pretty hard. He doesn't have to worry about me, he has to worry about them.

"The Governor was here tonight and he went running out of the building. He's in big trouble."

The build up and aftermath of the fight was dominated by McGregor and Khabib's rivalry and disgusting behaviour but on Saturday night it was an excellent and compelling fight and it's a shame it won't be remembered for that.

Still you've got to worry for Khabib, who knows what punishment his dad will give him - he might take away internet privileges or his Xbox.
