Conor McGregor Mocks Jose Also Over '12' Second Loss

The Irishman was using his quick win over the Brazilian to market his whiskey now that he's a retired UFC fighter.

Possibly Conor McGregor's most famous victory was his 13 second title win over Jose Aldo but now the Irishman wants UFC to take a second off his record, all in the name of his whiskey.

What do sportsmen do once they're retired? For some there's no need to do anything, others try coaching and some go and sit in a studio to become pundits but Conor McGregor has chosen to become the world's foremost whiskey salesman.

The Irishman revealed that he was walking away from the octagon earlier this week via Twitter, although it's not the first time he's done that.

The Notorious used his last fight in UFC to promote his new business venture Perfect Twelve Whiskey by sponsoring his fight with Khabib Nurmagomedov.

And the number 12 was on his mind when he took to Twitter to once again make fun of Jose Aldo over his very quick win against the Brazilian in 2015 but he wants the record books to show that he won in 12 seconds rather than 12, excellent marketing.

As far as adverts go it's probably the best one for whiskey we've seen in a while.

The fight with Aldo at UFC 194 gave McGregor his first full title belt in the promotion when he unified his interim belt with the featherweight title.

Their rivalry was the fiercest for the Irishman until his recent one with Nurmagomedov and the win early in the first round rocketed him into superstardom.

Will we see McGregor back in UFC anytime or will his retirement stick this time?
