Khabib Nurmagomedov wants to face Floyd Mayweather in a part boxing, part MMA fight, but it won't be for the $600 million the American has quoted.

Mayweather announced on social media at the back end of 2019 that he would return to action in 2020 and work alongside UFC president Dana White.

Recently the 50-0 boxer has spoken about facing both Conor McGregor and Khabib but said he wanted astronomical amounts for the superfights.

Speaking at the UFC 249 press conference on Friday night the Russian answered a question about getting in the ring with 'Money,' saying, "Who is gonna give him this money? Not me.

"Dana isn't going to give him $600m. If you want to fight, we can make a fight like this: 11-round boxing, one round MMA.

"If we can make deal, we can fight... we have option. $100m to fight with him in the middle east.

"I think Mayweather is a very big name. I have big name too and we can fight but we need 11 round box, one round MMA. Let's go, I'm ready."

Talking about fighting either of the UFC stars Mayweather said, "For myself, the number is $600m. If I'm going to go out there and risk it, it'd have to be worth it."

The idea of going even one round of MMA might make the 43-year-old ask for even more money, considering it would be his debut fighting with the rules.

Khabib was in Las Vegas, on the same weekend as UFC 248, for his press conference with Ferguson, who he'll finally meet next month at UFC 249.

The pair exchanged barbs, with the Eagle calling El Cucuy 'stupid' and insulting him for calling himself both American and Mexican.

Things then got heated in the face off as Khabib kicked Ferguson's title off the stage.
