Demetrious Johnson's 'German Suplex Armbar' Voted The Greatest Submission Of All Time

Demetrious Johnson's 'German Suplex Armbar' Voted The Greatest Submission Of All Time

Demetrious 'Mighty Mouse' Johnson smashed Anderson Silva's record for most consecutive UFC title defenses in October 2017 when he defeated Ray Borg at UFC 216.

But it was the 31-year-old's ridiculous 'German Suplex' Armbar to defeat the rising star that officially stole the show.

Johnson's heroics in the co-main event made it 11 consecutive wins.

The brave Borg did manage to get to round five in Las Vegas but he simply couldn't handle Johnson's powerful leg kicks and movement.

In the final round, Johnson hoisted his opponent into the air and locked in Borg's arm on the way down, producing one of the best submissions ever seen in the Octagon.

'Mighty Mouse' and the 'Mighty Armbar' - an unstoppable duo that has been voted as the greatest submission in MMA history.

Just look at this ridiculous transition from suplex to armbar:
