Conor McGregor fans aren't impressed with UFC's walkout shirt for when the Irishman makes his return to the octagon to face Donald Cerrone at UFC 246 on January 18th.
The Notorious has been out of action since October 2018, his infamous loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov, but will finally be back in action a week on Saturday when he faces Cerrone in Las Vegas.
I know a few years ago Reebok worked with @Bosslogic and brought him in to design a few shirts, Conor McGregor being one of them. Those were sick. Not sure what happened here but yikes. https://t.co/RTU1MnBf9q

I finally figured it out: McGregor approved this abomination of a shirt, so he can sell more stuff from his own clothing line. 3000 IQ play. :joy: pic.twitter.com/FMdxKjIDx7

McGregor fights always bring out the fanboys. But only the most delusional of the bunch will wear that trash ass Nickelodeon coloring book Reebok shirt

If this was signed off on by Conor McGregor I would be shocked... this is absolutely awful. No grown man should be caught dead in this shirt outside of a video game convention. Let alone a man who loves fashion. The worst shirt ever made by @Reebok not even close. #UFC246 #UFC pic.twitter.com/0tfHBSKVfK

Reebok's history of making high quality products for the UFC continues with the official Conor McGregor shirt

Imagine wearing this after 1988 pic.twitter.com/ylyI2nlvrk
Wait. Conor McGregor is really walking out in this shirt?
- Tom Taylor (@TomTayMMA) January 6, 2020
Say what you will about him, but he clearly takes fashion pretty seriously. Legitimately can't fathom him walking out with this Bitmoji lookin ass print on his shirt... https://t.co/ttZzW79VkG
Several questions...
- Rock N Roll Ronin (@TheeJesseHelton) January 6, 2020
1) why does Travis Brown have a new UFC shirt?
And
2) Why is he dressed like Conor?
What is even going on here
McGregor usually looks suave in the build up to his fights and whilst he's not exactly gonna walk to the octagon in a suit you can't really imagine him striding to his fight wearing that shirt either.
The fight will be the 31-year-old's third fight at welterweight and the move up in weight class could be in order to get ready for a future with BMF champion Jorge Masvidal or welterweight champ Kamaru Usman.
If McGregor does beat 'Cowboy' Cerrone there could also be calls for him to face the winner of Khabib's title defence against Tony Ferguson.
As the pair have been scheduled to fight four times previously, without it ever going ahead, McGregor could also be on standby to step in should either be unable to fight in April.
Will McGregor be victorious in his comeback?
