Hollywood megastar The Rock has revealed that he thinks UFC star Tyron Woodley is "one of the baddest men on the planet" after watching him show remarkable strength.

The Rock, real name Dwayne Johnson, has recently begun hosting 'The Titan Games' on NBC which sees top athletes go head-to-head in a variety of exercises.

One man who has appeared on the show is welterweight fighter Woodley and the former WWE star offered him the highest praise.

He stated on Instagram: "I hand picked my boy Tyron Woodley because he's one of the baddest men on the planet.

"And most importantly, he knows his success in the UFC serves as a shining example for kids around the world, to be "the hardest worker in the room" to make their dreams come true."

Woodley has been one of the top welterweights in UFC in the last few years but is currently on a two-fight losing streak.

'The Chosen One' lost his welterweight championship to Kamaru Usman at UFC 235 last year before being defeated by Gilbert Burns in May.

Meanwhile, The Rock's relationship with the UFC saw him present the BMF belt to Jorge Masvidal last November.

He also recently offered words of encouragement to Masvidal prior to challenging Usman on 'Fight Island.'

"Well considering I have had... zero fights in the octagon here's what Jorge Masvidal has to do," the 48-year-old joked to ESPN.

"No I think that, while I haven't been in the octagon, I've been in some pretty big professional wrestling matches with a big global eye on me.

"So I think what Masvidal has to do is quiet the noise around him. Quiet the noise around him because, the moment he took this fight, you just get thrust back into the spotlight.

"So he's got to quiet the noise and just remember that Jorge Masvidal needs to do exactly what he was born to do, which is fight his ass off. And if he does these things, everything else is going to fall into place."

Masvidal failed to overcome 'The Nigerian Nightmare' however and lost via unanimous decision.
