Nate Diaz and Dana White seen to be on pretty good terms these days but the UFC president knows the Stockton slugger would sort him right out if he crossed him.

Because back in 2016, he felt the wrath of Diaz when the welterweight delivered a 'Stockton Slap' on his boss - though White actually wanted to be on the receiving end of a whack to the face.

Diaz posted a video of him slapping White on his Instagram page, aptly mixed with Tupac's "Hit 'Em Up'".

White would go on to explain how he came to get struck in the face by one of the baddest UFC fighters.

"So what was happening is, we had just left and were heading back to the arena and we were on Crenshaw, and there was a place called the Turf Motel," White said on the UFC Unfiltered podcast

"It just came to me, I said pull the truck over, I want Nate to slap me. And Nate looked at me like, what the f**k? You should have seen the look on his face when I said that. And then we pulled over and he started slapping away."

White was then asked if he'd let other members of the UFC roster get their hands on him, to which he replied: "Trust me, if I opened that one up they'd be lining up for days."

The 50-year old has got physical with one of his fighters once before, having engaged in a fist fight with Tito Ortiz.

"We were on a private plane on our way to Japan and it was my partners, the Fertitta brothers, myself, Tito Ortiz and our matchmaker at the time, Joe Silva. Tito and I were messing around and he put me in what's called a neck crank," White said on Conan O'Brien.

"I was tapping and he didn't stop. You can seriously hurt somebody in a neck crank, especially as big and strong as Tito is.

"So I just started blasting him in the ribs, started punching him in the ribs and when he let go [I] just jumped up and it was just a full blown fist fight in the plane."

Incredibly ,the two were scheduled to have a boxing fight in 2007 but it never materialised after Ortiz backed out.
