Paige VanZant lost their UFC flyweight debut and broke her arm. Rough outing.
After a grueling cut to strawweight, VanZant moved up in weight to mark her territory in the 125lbs division.
Easiest and best weight cut of my career thanks to my new body analyzer from @vitagoods! 60% off using the code "pvz" at https://t.co/aZfA4GFpT5. So take advantage of this great deal! pic.twitter.com/oJ7luYEk4t

Though her Australian opponent had questioned VanZant's decision.
"I don't think she realizes how big some of the 125ers are," she said.
"But she's not a big 115, so I don't understand why she's going to Flyweight. I think it'll be fun. She's very tough and scrappy. She throws weird stuff and I love that. She's very unpredictable. I'm excited," Rose-Clark added.
And her flyweight venture got off to nightmare start after losing a three-round decision to Jessica-Rose Clark at UFC Fight Night on Sunday night.
Not only did she suffer her second consecutive fight inside the famed Octagon, but she also broke her arm in the very first round throwing a spinning backfist.
That noise! :scream:

VanZant then took to social media, updating her army of fans while confirming breaking her arm in the first round.
"Well... I broke my arm in the first! I was able to finish the fight but as you can see, had a hard recovering and throwing my right. Thank you to the @ufc and to my opponent. Thank you to my coaches and most importantly my head coach's @therealburkecamp and @fabianoscherner . I'll be back better and stronger than ever!" Her Instagram post reads.
She added: "it's all apart of the fight game. God had other plans for me. darn spinning back fist."
VanZant, 23, has now lost three of her past four fights, moving to a 7-4 professional record. Meanwhile, Clark is now riding a three-fight win streak including two impressive victories inside the UFC.
Here's hoping for a speedy recovery, Paige.
