Tony Ferguson Gives A Brilliant Prediction For Conor McGregor Vs Donald 'Cowboy' Cerrone
Tony Ferguson believes that Donald Cerrone and Conor McGregor will hold nothing back and will go "guns a blazing" in their 2020 hotly-anticipated clash.
McGregor, 31, has not competed in UFC since his devastating defeat to Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229 in October 2018.
But the Irish MMA superstar announced in October that he would make his eagerly-awaited return to the octagon next year.
McGregor's UFC comeback will start with his clash against Cerrone at welterweight on 18th January at UFC 246.
When he was asked for his fight prediction on Ariel Helwani's MMA Show, Ferguson responded: "I have to say if Cerrone kicks him to the chops, McGregor's gonna fall like a ton of bricks.
"But like I always say, I'm gonna go for a double knockout.
"I think they're just gonna go in guns a blazing -- I think it's gonna be a good fight.
"I can't wait to watch it."
McGregor, who is eyeing up three fights in 2020 as part of his UFC comeback, has had a heated rivalry with Cerrone that stretches back to 2015.
Ahead of his clash with Jose Aldo at UFC 194, the 'Notorious' swapped verbal blows with the 36-year-old Cerrone at a press conference.
And McGregor and Cerrone once again reignited their rivalry as they fired off shots at one another on social media.
Ferguson is scheduled to face Khabib for the UFC lightweight championship on 18th April in New York.
'El Cucuy' also issued a warning to the lightweight champ that he is "gonna make him piss blood."
Ferguson told the MMA Show: "Now, I'm in this dude's head.
"He's, like, looking at me, he's gonna train so hard and he's going to be so nervous he's gonna make a mistake. And I'm going to capitalise on that.
"I'm going to catch him during the scramble -- scrambled eggs, baby!
"I told everybody I'm gonna make him piss blood. I said that a while ago."
