Joe Rogan's mammoth deal with Spotify begun on September 1 and it is said to be worth up to $100 million (Β£82 million).

The 53-year-old has been on top of the podcast charts with 'The Joe Rogan Experience', garnering 190 million downloads per month last year.

And now his array of shows will be exclusive to the streaming service as part of a multi-year contract which will see Rogan's 11-year catalogue on Spotify.

From then on it will be exclusively on the network and unavailable to access on any other platforms by the end of 2020.

"It will remain free, and it will be the exact same show," Rogan said on Instagram.

"It's just a licensing deal, so Spotify won't have any creative control over the show. They want me to just continue doing it the way I'm doing it right now.

"I'm excited to have the support of the largest audio platform in the world and I hope you folks are there when we make the switch!"

Incredibly, this mega-deal means the colour commentator and interviewer Rogan is in line to earn more than every current UFC champion ever combined - except Conor McGregor.
