The hype surrounding this bout is nothing short of incredible and it's already on course to enter uncharted waters in terms of buy-rates.

According to UFC president Dana White, the pay-per-view is estimated to do around 3 to 3.5 million buys and as a result, McGregor is on course make some serious dollar upon his return to the Octagon.

It's not quite the mega-bucks he made from his last fight in Las Vegas when he made the switch to Boxing to fight Floyd Mayweather, but he'll probably be able to buy a fair few Freddos.

"We're estimating around 3 to 3.5 million (pay-per-view buys), I'd say I'll close in around the $50 million mark," he said at a pre-fight press conference.

"So for a mixed martial artist - to make $50 million in a mixed martial arts bout, it's quite breathtaking."

It's a far cry from a few years ago., with McGregor recalling the first time he fought Nate Diaz.

"To think where we have come from. When I fought Nate Diaz the first time, he was on $20,000 to show and $20,000 to win," he added.

With the fight mere hours away now, who do you see emerging victorious?
