Jorge Masvidal Responds To Conor McGregor Claiming That He Would Fight Any Top Fighter
BMF champ Jorge Masvidal has demanded that Conor McGregor 'put his money where his mouth is' and accept a blockbuster UFC showdown.
ESPN tweeted out an infographic to spotlight the different big-money fights that McGregor and Masvidal could be involved in next year.
And the mega-fight wishlist features star-studded UFC names like Khabib Nurmagomedov, Tony Ferguson, Kamaru Usman, Colby Covington and Nate and Nick Diaz.
McGregor, who will make his sensational UFC comeback in 2020, refused to back down from a potential challenge.
The Irish MMA superstar tweeted: "I'll go at anyone on that list."
And Masvidal, 35, wasted no time in taking up the 31-year-old Irishman on his offer.
'Gamebred' tweeted: "Put your money where your mouth is I'm the only 1 #1of1."
McGregor and Masvidal have continued to intensify their rivalry in recent weeks.
UFC star Masvidal called the Irishman a "f*****g midget" and vowed to "f**k him up" after his victory over Nate Diaz at UFC 244 earlier this month.
And McGregor wasted no time in responding to the 35-year-old American by taking a swipe at him on social media.
Firas Zahabi, who was the longtime coach of UFC legend Georges St-Pierre, has slammed McGregor's chances of beating Masvidal inside the octagon.
"I think [Masvidal] beats McGregor," the legendary trainer said.
"I think McGregor is a great fighter, I just think Masvidal is too big.
"He's a great puncher and has a great chin. If he takes McGregor past the two rounds, it's going to be the Masvidal show.
"I honestly would tell you that probably McGregor is the best puncher in the UFC.
"If I had to choose one guy off the top of my head, I would pick McGregor right now.
"However, there are guys out there who are very dangerous punchers, and I would say Jorge is among the elite."
