BMF champ Jorge Masvidal has demanded a UFC showdown with Nick Diaz after admitting he would "love to fight" him.

The 35-year-old headlined UFC 244 earlier this month against Nate Diaz and secured a controversial third-round doctor's stoppage victory at Madison Square Garden in New York.

But Nick, who last fought in UFC in 2015, said he is ready to make his long-awaited MMA return in 2020 and wants to avenge his brother's defeat.

The 36-year-old called out Masvidal and blasted him for wanting to 'baptise' his baby brother.

But 'Gamebred' has now demanded a clear response from the Stockton native and is willing to step inside the octagon with him.

The BMF champ said on The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz: "Is he asking to fight? I was confused. Or are we going on a walk on the beach?

"Does he know who he's asking for a fight?

"Because I'd love to fight, especially if I get a little something on top of that."

Masvidal, who has also had a heated rivalry with Conor McGregor in recent weeks, initially responded to Diaz's callout when he posted a Scarface-inspired response on social media.

The video featured an animated version of the UFC star donning Tony Montana's iconic clothing and featuring Al Pacino's famous "f**k the Diaz brothers" line from the cult classic.

While Masvidal has been linked with blockbuster clashes with McGregor and Diaz, he said his next opponent would be the one that "puts the most zeros in the bank account."

He explained: "We don't know who's next, but everybody's looking like cash symbols, cash money to us right now.

"The next person is going to be the one that puts the most zeros in the bank account, who that [is].

"A lot of people are saying my name now.

"They didn't want to fight me before, like a year or two [ago], they didn't want to fight me.

"Everybody wants to call me out now.

"So, it's funny to me because these same guys didn't want to fight me two or three years ago."

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, who strapped the BMF title on Masvidal, recently revealed the important advice that he shared with the UFC star after his victory at UFC 244.
