BMF champ Jorge Masvidal claims that fierce rival Conor McGregor is a 'bad motherf****r in his own right' and is eager to set up a blockbuster clash in 2020.

McGregor, 31, is scheduled to make his hotly-anticipated MMA comeback next year in a welterweight fight with Donald Cerrone at UFC 246 on 18th January.

And Masvidal, who defeated Nate Diaz at UFC 244 last month, has praised the Irish MMA superstar's illustrious fighting career in UFC.

But that didn't stop 'Gamebred,' 35, from vowing to "rearrange" McGregor's face in a potential UFC showdown.

He told Barstool Sports' Pardon My Take podcast: "I want to rearrange his face.

"I wouldn't mind collecting a nice cheque and whooping his a**e, because that's a bad motherf****r.

"You know? Take nothing from the man.

"He's got two belts at 145 pounds and 155 pounds -- not easy weights to win at.

"Both times that he won the belt, it was unquestioned. It was no opposition. It was no fighting really.

"It was just he went in there, did what he wanted and came home with the belt.

"So I would definitely like to fight him."

McGregor, who has been out of the octagon since his devastating defeat to Khabib Nurmagomedov in 2018, is reportedly eyeing up three UFC fights in 2020.

One of those opponents could be Masvidal next summer ahead of a potential blockbuster rematch with UFC lightweight champ Khabib.

However, Masvidal has promised to 'baptise' McGregor should they meet inside the octagon.

The UFC star told Jim Rome: "He [McGregor] gets melted.

"What the world is looking for is for him to suffer and get chastised for some of the things that he's done in public.

"Everybody's gonna feel sorry for him after the fight, I can tell you that much.

"They'll forgive him all after the fight. This baptism's going to be a little extra for Mr Conor."

Masvidal's next fight hasn't been confirmed, but he has been heavily linked with a clash against UFC welterweight champ Kamaru Usman.

When he was asked when his next opponent would be revealed, 'Gamebred' responded: "We're working on it.

"Hopefully by Jan 18 -- we'll have a date set after Jan 18."
