Conor McGregor has revealed that he has "accepted" UFC's offer to fight rival Dustin Poirier -- but only if the MMA organisation books the bout in 2020.

The future UFC Hall of Famer's MMA future seemed in further doubt after a public fallout with UFC president Dana White over private messages posted online.

McGregor teased last month that he would be willing to face Poirier in a charity fight, with White saying he would be happy to book the bout under the UFC banner.

Poirier, who has been vocal about fighting McGregor again, recently took to Twitter to send the 'Notorious' a message: "Hey @TheNotoriousMMA what's up."

McGregor has now responded to the 'Diamond' on Twitter and revealed that he is ready to return to the octagon -- but it would seem if only his conditions are met.

The Irishman would be ready to fight with Poirier on 21st November or on 12th December or 19th December.

McGregor added that he would also make a $500,000 donation to Poirier's charity, The Good Fight Foundation.

"Hello Dustin! I accepted the [UFC's] offer to fight you, but told them it must happen in 2020," the 'Notorious' tweeted.

"I'm ready for Nov 21st, given that cards recent injury issues, as well as any of the December dates, the 12th and the 19th. I'll also still donate the $500k to The Good Fight Foundation."

ESPN's Ariel Helwani claims that Poirier is ready to accept McGregor's offer of fighting in either November or December.

"Dustin Poirier tells me he would have no issue fighting McGregor on either the 11/21 or 12/12 PPV," he tweeted.

"Both techinically [sic] have openings at the moment: 11/21 just lost Cody Garbrandt and 12/12 just lost its main event, Usman vs. Burns."

McGregor and Poirier initially clashed at UFC 178 in 2014 and the 'Notorious' sealed a sensational first-round TKO victory in Las Vegas.
