If you want a proper, old fashion slugfest that screams absolute chaos, then you're about to watch a round from UFC 187 that will quench your thirst for incredible drama and mayhem.

Described by UFC's chief play-by-play guy Joe Rogan as 'the best round of fighting in the UFC', this bout between Travis Browne and Andrei Arlovski was well and truly one for the ages.

To hear Rogan utter those words, after the sheer amount of fights he has covered down the years, then you know something is special - really, really special.

As Rogan spits some magic moments of commentary, Browne and Arlovski exchange blows in a dramatic round full of dogged determination and fight inside the Octagon.

It may have only lasted one round, but many believed this bout at UFC 187 was the best of 2015.

Arlovski stunned Browne early in the first round, but Browne fought back valiantly.

That being said, Arlovski eventually won the fight with a number of vicious right hands and Browne's chin finally gave in.

This is just an incredible round of fighting:

After his win, Andrei Arlovski was on an impressive three-fight winning streak in the UFC, while Browne suffered a defeat that was described by many as a shock.

If you're in need of showing someone a match in order to get them to understand what so many people are captivated by the UFC product, then look no further than Arlovski and Browne's absolute war at the MGM Grand nearly four years ago.

I might just watch that round again.
