Ladies and gentlemen, meet Charles Dion McDowell, the man popularly known as 'Hench Neck Guy,'

If you haven't yet heard of this bloke yet, then let me fill you in. Charles has become an online phenomenon after his mugshot found its way on the internet.

The Escambia County Sheriff's Office posted this picture and social media soon did its thing. Here's just a handful of replies to the image.

A meme was made and his fame has sky-rocketed ever since.

He recently ran from authorities during a traffic stop in Alabama, but he is now back posting on Facebook and claims he is ready to become an MMA star. No, seriously.

Florida-based combat sports promotion, Island Fights, have reportedly offered him a potential fight for early next year. This is actually happening.

"For all you people that didn't know, I've been training MMA and will be making my Debut real soon!" wrote Charles on his official page.

Island fights CEO, Dean Toole, is allowing him to train at the Island Fights's facilities to develop his skills, according to Ritely

"He hasn't made some of the best choices in life in his past so maybe something like this will be a good step in the right direction toward something positive." he said.

"Even if he doesn't compete maybe this will all work out for the better for him and he won't make those same choices again."

McDowell was arrested in October this year on several charges that included possession of cocaine, meth and marijuana with the intent to distribute or sell.

Let's hope he can make an impact on the MMA scene.
