Nurmagomedov still has eyes on Floyd Mayweather.

Tony Ferguson wants a piece of Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Before the Dagestan phenom defended his UFC lightweight title against Conor McGregor at UFC 229, Ferguson was involved in a barnburner during the co-main event.

He stopped the dangerous Anthony Pettis in a bloody affair, solidifying his spot as the No.1 lightweight contender.

Ferguson now wants a crack at UFC gold. However, Nurmagomedov is still hellbent on challenging Floyd Mayweather (FFS), calling the bout a more interesting proposition than his MMA counterpart.

"For legacy, money-wise and competition-wise, the bout against Mayweather would be more interesting [than a fight with Tony Ferguson]," he said.

"Why do people keep buying pay-per-views with Mayweather in? Because he keeps winning.

"He's never lost. 50 bouts and 50 wins. Some people root for him and some people root against him. That would be very interesting. Two undefeated fighters. It would be very interesting to see who wins."

Ferguson, who's riding an impressive 11 fight win streak, isn't having any of it.

He posted a Tweet directly to the champ, calling him out in savage fashion.

"Tried To Be Nice But You're Still My Bitch @TeamKhabib Check It Out... You Couldn't Box Your Way Out Of A Paper Bag. I See You & The Team Working On That Footwork. Running From A Much Needed Ass Whoopin'. Keep Swimmin' Shrimp,The Fans Like Me Better. I'm The Champ Chump," he wrote on Twitter.

Nurmagomedov vs. Ferguson has been scheduled FOUR times but the pair have failed to meet inside the famed Octagon.

Fifth times the charm, right..?!
