Conor McGregor Lookalike Goes Viral And It's Blowing Everyone’s Mind

Conor McGregor has a doppelgänger in the form of Maurice Adorf, with the UFC fighter's coach, John Kavanagh, taking notice of it on Twitter.

Maurice Adorf might have picked up a win against Ridvan Nuka at a German MMA Championship event in Hamburg on Saturday, but UFC fans can't believe how much he looks like Conor McGregor.

That's right, Adorf has taken social media by storm after photos and videos of him were posted online, with his resemblance to the 30-year-old Irishman being uncanny.

One Twitter user described the doppelgänger as a "clone," while another said that his "entrance to the cage was virtually identical."

Check it out below.

"Is this the first clone in MMA? Never seen this kind of madness before," one Twitter user wrote.

Another tweeted: "I mean, I've seen fighters emulate Conor out there, but never to this extent. All of the mannerisms."

A third said: "My cringe sensors are tingling."

A fourth added: "What the f**kkkk [sic]. Ha-ha."

The MMA fighter scored a TKO win over Nuka and now holds a 2-0 record in the sport.

McGregor, on the other hand, has been grabbing all of the headlines along with Khabib Nurmagomedov after the Nevada State Athletic Commission delivered its verdict on the controversial aftermath of UFC 229.

The Notorious was handed down a six-month suspension and was fined $50,000 (£38,095).

When it came to the 30-year-old Russian UFC fighter, though, he received a nine-month suspension and a $500,000 (£380,950) fine.

Following on from the NSAC's punishment, McGregor has broken his silence on the matter and responded on social media.

In fact, the Irishman recently took a swipe at Khabib on social media, though he would end up deleting what he said.

While both fighters will have to wait before they can return to the octagon, it's not like others are not already eying them up.

Georges St-Pierre's team have already confirmed interest in setting up a match with McGregor, with famed boxing trainer Freddie Roach saying that the Irishman has a "big mouth."

However, Khabib is also interested in setting up a match with the 37-year-old Canadian UFC fighter this year.

Will we see a rematch between Khabib and McGregor in 2019?

Let us know in the comments.
