UFC legend Khabib Nurmagomedov decided to get his phone out and live stream Saturday night's main event between Kevin Holland and Derek Brunson - a decision that left plenty of fans laughing.
The recently retired former lightweight champion was in the front row in Las Vegas alongside UFC boss Dana White as the likes of Max Griffin, Montserrat Ruiz and Adrian Yanez came out victorious in the Fight Night event.
Nurmagomedov was seen laughing and interacting with White throughout the night and when middleweights Holland and Brunson faced off inside the octagon, he decided to go live on Instagram.
In the below screenshot, over 24,000 fans tuned in to watch the main event.

We all know Dana White's thoughts on illegal streamers. In the past he has sent numerous warnings to streamers. In fact, ahead of Conor McGregor vs Dustin Poirier II, he said he was looking forward to their 'crying and begging.'
So the fact White has such a huge problem with illegal streamers made Khabib's actions even funnier for those watching at home.
Here are just a few of those reactions from social media.
This is next level genius by Dana White. He's letting Khabib stream the entire #UFCVegas22 main event. Now Dana will threaten to sue Khabib for everything he is worth unless he fights rematches McGregor. 3D chess move. pic.twitter.com/R5M5CAKAqm

Dana White on Khabib's IG stream during Holland vs. Brunson: "I can't watch anymore of this." White then left midway through the fifth.
Khabib on the fight: "This very funny fight." #UFCVegas22
Khabib also live streamed the entire fight next to White.

Of course, illegal streaming is something combat sports has been battling for years but no clear workaround has been found until recently.
"We've been one of the leagues that has been so proactive on piracy," White said in an interview on the Mac Life earlier this year.
"I love how cool and tough these guys act on social media because - let me tell you what, we've caught a lot of people. Let me tell you what they do: They cry. They cry, and they beg not to be prosecuted and all this other stuff.
"We just overcame a huge hurdle in the piracy world, and we're going to catch some of these guys in 2021, and I look forward to the crying and the begging. We'll see how tough they are when they get caught."
