A UFC fan spotlighted before and after photos of five opponents that Tony Ferguson 'brutalised' in the octagon.

The 36-year-old UFC star is preparing ahead for his blockbuster clash with Khabib Nurmagomedov on 18th April.

But YouTuber MMA Release has decided to revisit five examples of when Ferguson left his opponents a bloody mess.

The first name to appear on the list is Josh Thomson, who came up against Ferguson at UFC Fight Night: Mir vs Duffee in 2015.

'El Cucuy,' who was on a five-match winning streak at the time, busted Thomson open during the fight and secured a unanimous decision victory.

Ferguson's second victim was Edson Barboza, who was busted open in the second round after his opponent landed a number of elbows on him.

'El Cucuy' would force him to tap in the second round and chalked up another name on his superb MMA record.

MMA Release's third pick was Kevin Lee, who clashed with Ferguson at UFC 216 in 2017 for the interim UFC lightweight championship.

Lee walked away with less of a bloody face compared to Barboza and Thomson, but still suffered defeat in the third round after Ferguson locked in a deadly triangle chokehold.

Finishing second on the list was Anthony Pettis after he locked horns with Ferguson at UFC 229 in 2018.

And Ferguson left Pettis a bloody mess in the second round on route to securing a TKO victory via corner stoppage.

MMA Release placed the top pick as Donald Cerrone, who was Ferguson's most recent opponent at UFC 238 last June.

Cerrone, who lost to Conor McGregor back in January, managed to hold his own against Ferguson in the first round.

But Ferguson built momentum in the second round, landed shots that would bust his opponent open and secured a TKO victory via doctor stoppage.

Ferguson has dropped a chilling message to UFC lightweight champion Khabib ahead of their UFC 249 showdown.
