Nate Diaz has responded to Jorge Masvidal calling him out for a rematch.

Masvidal made the request after taking issue with the fact Diaz called himself "the P4P baddest motherfucker" despite losing to 'Gamebred' in their BMF title match back in November.

The hard-hitting duo went to war inside the Octagon in the UFC 244 main event but it was Masvidal who had the BMF championship belt placed around his waist by Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson after the doctor ruled Diaz could not continue after the third round.

Still, with the finish to the slugfest seriously underwhelming, both men are keen for a second bout in the future.

Masvidal first expressed interest, before Diaz told his former opponent to "pull up then" on Twitter - replying to a previous tweet of him mocking the 35-year old accompanied by an image of him catching him flush in their fight.

Diaz's original tweet was in response to Conor McGregor after the Irishman named his 'MMA GOAT' list in a controversial thread.

The Stockton Slugger declared he was the GOAT, reminding fans he made McGregor tap out at UFC 196 and claiming he "sent him down with punches quicker than Mayweather did" before saying "f*ck alll y'all rankings and know a real goat when you see me."

UFC Light Heavyweight champ Jon Jones, who had earlier said would let the fans do the debating, dismissed Diaz putting himself in the conversation on Instagram - causing the 35-year old to put down 'Bones' with a dig at his past drug test failures in UFC.
