Nate Diaz has posted a cryptic tweet reacting to criticism of his 'BMF' title fight with Jorge Masvidal on November 2.

At UFC 244 in New York, the two veterans of the game will go toe-to-toe for the newly introduced belt in a decision that has split opinions amongst MMA fighters and fans alike.

And Diaz, who beat Anthony Pettis in his return fight in August, appeared to fire back on Thursday morning when he took to Twitter, saying "Ur a group of p****s".

Last month a fired up Diaz blasted those criticising the belt - telling journalists to "shut the f**k up" because they have never stepped inside the Octagon.

"If there's anybody that's hatin' on it, like some of these journalists in here, it's because none of you are no fighters," he said in an explosive interview with TMZ Sport.

"You're (expletives), so shut the (expletive) up. Tell me I ain't the best mother (expletive) in the game - watch me fight the whole game and you."

"It's already a staple, and that we're fighting for the best mother (expletive) in the fight game. There's a belt for it. I called it against one of the other baddest mother (expletive)'s and everyone felt it, and we're like, 'This is what it is. These are the best guys in the game. We're going to watch it."

The new belt will cost $50,000 (£40,000) for the promotion to make, while UFC president Dana White has confirmed that Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson will present it to whoever emerges victorious after the war.
