Nate Diaz has slammed Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson by telling him that he "picked the wrong side" and he can have his "a*s whipped too."

The UFC star, 34, headlined UFC 244 in a blockbuster clash with Jorge Masvidal for the BMF title at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Dwayne Johnson attended the event and strapped the championship on Masvidal after he secured a controversial third-round victory over Diaz.

But the 'Stockton Slugger' took aim at the 47-year-old WWE legend in his UFC 244 post-fight press conference with a hilarious rant.

"If you're the baddest motherf****r, you gonna take that as a win?" he said.

"And f**k the Rock, too. I saw him smiling with Masvidal. He can get it, too.

"[The Rock's] on that side, f**k him. I'm on the West Coast side.

"Mike Tyson should have been here anyway. He's the baddest man on the planet, right? He should have been the one.

"I'm too hard on The Rock. You guys caught me at a bad time.

"The Rock's cool, I like Ballers.

"But he picked the wrong side, so he can get it too.

"He can get his a*s whipped too, straight up. With all due respect, he can get it, too."

Diaz picked up two horrible cuts -- one on his cheek and the other on his eyebrow -- in his epic encounter with Masvidal and was told by the cageside doctor he was unfit to carry on in the fight.

The Stockton native, who has demanded a rematch with Masvidal, has since launched a scathing attack on UFC and Dana White over setting up a second bout with 'Gamebred.'

UFC president White has since broken his silence on the controversial ending to Masvidal and Diaz, saying it was the right decision for the fight to be stopped.
