UFC have released super-slow motion footage of Zhang Weili punching Joanna Jedrzejczyk's hematoma during their phenomenal women's strawweight title clash at UFC 248.

Zhang beat Jedrzejczyk by split decision to defend her UFC women's strawweight title last weekend in Las Vegas.

The pair of fighters put on a 'Fight of the Night' showing with both women sporting grizzly injuries, including Jedrzejczyk's brutal head injury.

She suffered a hematoma and UFC have released a brand spanking new clip of her fight which shows Zhang landing a punch flush on the injury.

You can actually see her hematoma jiggle and wiggle as the Chinese star connects. Gross.

Speaking after the 'Fight of the Year' contender, the Polish fighter said: "You see my [swelling], I felt this, you know, she did great.

"There was something missing, but I felt all the punches, from the third round the [swelling] was bothering me and I felt it just getting more and more swollen, and my head was, like, going on and off.

"But all good. Congrats, champ, and I'm very happy that we gave you a good fight."

Jedrzejczyk has since been slapped with a medical suspension by the Nevada State Athletic Commission who've suspended her until July 5, 2020, and no contact until April 22, 2020.

The defeat moves Jedrzejczyk to 16-4 in her professional MMA career as she suffers her fourth Octagon defeat.

UFC president Dana White, meanwhile, praised the former champion at the post-fight press conference.

"Joanna, she comes to fight," he said. "She's incredibly talented. She comes to win, to hurt you, to bust you up and she's one of the baddest to ever do it."

Is a rematch on the cards?
