Dana White has revealed that Conor McGregor remains determined to return to the UFC on December 14 in Dublin.
McGregor sent social media into overdrive after appearing to confirm his return date. He wrote "Dublin, December 14th" on Twitter, but the UFC president shot down that idea.
Of course, UFC 245 goes down on December 14 in Las Vegas though McGregor is hellbent on fighting on that date but in his hometown.

White shared a text message he received from McGregor who's adamant that he wants to fight on December 14 in Dublin, while addressing a potential match-up between Justin Gaethje and McGregor.
"No," White said when asked if Justin Gaethje is who McGregor wants to fight next. "But I hit Conor up and asked him what he wants. And he hit me back with December 14 in Dublin."
McGregor hasn't fought since his devastating submission defeat to Khabib Nurmagomedov last October, but he wants to return to the famed Octagon before the end of the year.

He's called out Nurmagomedov as well as Nate Diaz, among other UFC stars, and White could see the Russian lightweight champion face McGregor again "down the road".
"That's possible too down the road," White said when asked about a potential rematch between Nurmagomedov and McGregor.
"I think Conor would fight somebody else before that. The Ferguson fight would have to happen, there's a lot of possibilities.
"To sit here now and say who is going to fight who; I don't know until this whole thing plays out. [The] Masvidal-Diaz winner is in the mix, too."
