Conor McGregor told Donald Cerrone he loves him while alluding to his shoulder strikes immediately after UFC 246's main-event clash.

In the UFC 246 edition of 'Thrill and Agony', we get an all-access look at the aftermath between McGregor and Cerrone.

The former UFC double champion made a triumphant return to the Octagon after stopping Cerrone in just 40 seconds.

He busted him up with his shoulder then landed a head kick before finishing him on the ground via punches and after Herb Dean pulled McGregor away from Cerrone, the Irishman returned to 'Cowboy' and spoke to him.

"I love you Donald," he said. "Those shoulder shots broke it, eh?!"

The new footage also shows McGregor and Cerrone's corners reacting to the devastating result.

John Kavanagh cuts a casual and composed figure while other members of McGregor's team celebrate. Cerrone's corner, on the other hand, stare into the cage in disbelief.

There's a great shot of UFC president Dana White, too. He reacted to McGregor's stunning showing by saying: "Holy f**king sh*t!"

The clip also captures the reactions of commentators Joe Rogan and Jon Anik, lineal heavyweight champion Tyson Fury as well as McGregor's friends and family.

White, meanwhile, praised McGregor after his comeback fight at the UFC 246 post-fight press conference.

"I was blown away. He looked unbelievable. You won't hear another peep out of me about fighting at 170.

"I know there's always critics and there's always somebody who has an opinion. People are going to say Cowboy was shot, which is total bullsh*t.

"Conor McGregor came out, he looked fast, he hit hard, he had a gameplan, and he finished a real tough kid who came to win."

After recording his first UFC win since 2016, McGregor has set his sights on fights at lightweight and welterweight.
