UFC 235 is scheduled to take place at the T-Mobile Arena.
At the time of this writing, unnamed sources have told ESPN that the fight has not been made official, but it might not be that far away from being confirmed.
Diaz has not competed for the promotion since he lost his match to Anderson Silva in 2015. However, the outcome of that match was changed to a no contest after both fighters failed a drugs test.
The former Strikeforce and EliteXC fighter received an 18-month suspension from the Nevada State Athletic Commission for testing positive for marijuana.

It was followed up with another suspension from
the United States Anti-Doping Agency in 2017. Diaz has been clear to fight again
since April.
After a court case involving him in a domestic violence incident was dismissed in August, Diaz released a statement that said he was focused on returning to MMA.
"I'm grateful this case is finally over, I want to thank my team and my lawyer, Ross Goodman, for the excellent work," he wrote on Twitter.
"But most importantly, I want to thank the fans who stuck by my throughout this process.
"I'm happy to put this chapter of my life behind me and I'm looking forward to focusing on my return."
DC has talked about being on UFC 235 as his final fight.

Having a co-main of Nick Diaz, should help line DC's pockets one last time.

How likely is the scenario of Jorge Masvidal vs. Nick Diaz ending split decision with the loser vehemently claiming they won?

I'd say high.
Just when you thought the new UFC was destroying the sport, they book a Nick Diaz fight.. pic.twitter.com/KbRsKcvctx

Why would Nick Diaz return to fight a midcard guy? That doesn't really make any sense.

UFC's vendetta against Nick Diaz is one of Dana White's greatest crimes against the fight world. One of the world's great action fighters and the promotion had no clue what to do with him. pic.twitter.com/Nb1WJSoGsn

Who would win out of Diaz and Masvidal?
