UFC 254 generated a reported 675,000 pay-per-view buys and ranks fifth among UFC PPVs this year behind the huge UFC 251.
The five biggest UFC PPV events of 2020 have been revealed following last weekend's 'Fight Island' card.

Nurmagomedov vs. Gaethje ranks fifth behind four shows including Kamaru Usman vs. Jorge Masvidal which generated a whopping 1.3 million PPV buys in July.
Conor McGregor's UFC comeback against Donald Cerrone brought in 1 million PPV buys.
The UFC middleweight title bout between Israel Adesanya and Paulo Costa and the interim lightweight title clash between Tony Ferguson and Gaethje both generated 700,000 PPV buys.

The five biggest UFC pay-per-view events of 2020:
1. UFC 251: Kamaru Usman vs. Jorge Masvidal - 1.3 million
2. UFC 246: Conor McGregor vs. Donald Cerrone - 1 million
3. UFC 253: Israel Adesnaya vs. Paulo Costa - 700,000
3. UFC 249: Tony Ferguson vs. Justin Gaethje - 700,000
5. UFC 254: Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Justin Gaethje - 675,000
Dana White and Co have had a successful 2020 despite the global pandemic which shut down sports for a period of time earlier this year.
But the promotion has been able to regularly host events at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas and on 'Fight Island' in Abu Dhabi.
UFC 229: Nurmagomedov vs. McGregor remains the company's highest-ever PPV event with the grudge match generating a massive 2.4 million buys.
