Suspensions Handed Out For UFC 260, Stipe Miocic Comes Off Worse After Brutal Knockout Defeat

Miocic is facing a spell on the sidelines after losing his title at UFC 260.

Stipe Miocic has been hit with a two-month medical suspension following his crushing knockout defeat to Francis Ngannou.

Miocic surrendered his UFC heavyweight title to Ngannou who scored a devastating victory in the second round of their main-event bout at UFC 260 last weekend.

As a result of his championship loss, Miocic is facing two-months on the sidelines through a medical suspension by the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC).

He's suspended until May 27 with no contact allowed until May 12.

'The Predator' is also facing a spell on the sidelines, with NSAC handing him a 30-day suspension. He's medically suspended until April 27 and no contract permitted before April 18.

UFC 260 fighters Gillian Robertson, Jamie Mullarkey, Fabio Cherant, Omar Morales, and Shane Young were handed 180-day medical suspensions.

UFC 260 medical suspensions:

Francis Ngannou: Suspended 30 days, with no contact for 21 days.

Stipe Miocic: Suspended 60 days, with no contact for 45 days.

Vicente Luque: Suspended 21 days, with no contact for 14 days.

Tyron Woodley: Suspended 45 days, with no contact for 30 days.

Sean O'Malley: Suspended 21 days, with no contact for 14 days.

Thomas Almeida: Suspended 60 days, with no contact for 45 days.

Miranda Maverick: No suspension.

Gillian Robertson: Suspended 180 days or until right hand X-ray is cleared by a doctor; also suspended 21 days with no contact.

Jamie Mullarkey: Suspended 180 days or until right hand and wrist X-ray is cleared by a doctor.

Khama Worthy: Suspended 45 days, with no contact for 30 days.

Alonzo Menifield: No suspension.

Fabio Cherant: Suspended 180 days or until right ribs X-ray is cleared by a doctor; also suspended 30 days with no contact.

Abubakar Nurmagomedov: No suspension.

Jared Gooden: Suspended 30 days, with no contact for 21 days.

Michal Oleksiejczuk: No suspension.

Modestas Bukauskas: Suspended 30 days, with no contact for 21 days.

Omar Morales: Suspended 180 days or until right tibia and right thumb X-rays are cleared by a doctor; also suspended 14 days with no contact.

Shane Young: Suspended 180 days or until left tibia/fibula X-ray is cleared by a doctor; also suspended 28 days with no contact for 21 days.

Marc-Andre Barriault: Suspended 30 days, with no contact for 21 days due to right eyebrow cut.

Abu Azaitar: Suspended 60 days, with no contact for 45 days.
