Israel Adesanya has undergone an incredible body transformation ahead of challenging for the UFC light-heavyweight title.

Adesanya will look to become just the fifth fighter in UFC history to hold two titles simultaneously as he faces Jan Blachowicz in the main-event of UFC 259.

The UFC middleweight king weighed in well below the 205lbs limit at the official UFC 259 weigh-ins, tipping the scales at 200.5lbs.

He had no trouble making weight as he hilariously posed with a pizza box on the scale.

And a side-by-side picture of 'The Last Stylebender' weighing in at middleweight (UFC 253) and at light-heavyweight (UFC 259) shows the difference in his physique ahead of his title bout.

Speaking about his move up in weight, Adesanya said: "I can still make 185 if I have to. Same flex baby, same thing.

"That's just silly to me when people go and decide to add more muscle to their frame that they're not used to.

"For me, I just do this thing different. I want to bring it back to the rawness of martial arts technique so don't worry about weight, don't worry about all that."

Adesanya's head coach Eugene Bareman says his fighter decided to come in at "walk-around" weight opposed to putting on muscle mass.

"We've decided to come in at our normal, walk-around weight," he said.

"We're hoping it gives us the advantages we need to win the fight rather than stack on muscle.

"I don't think, with any amount of time or any amount of weight that Israel could put on, I don't think he's ever going to be stronger than Jan, so we've decided: Let's try not to get stronger than Jan, let's use that time to better-suited endeavors."

Perfect in his MMA and UFC career, the Nigerian-born New Zealander will look to add a second UFC championship to his already impressive collection.
