Dana White has insisted that Khabib Nurmagomedov vs Tony Ferguson will go ahead with '10 people in the room and has blasted the 'wimpy media'.

The UFC have been forced to postponed their next three Fight Night events due to the coronavirus pandemic but have insisted UFC 249 will go ahead on April 18.

White has been heavily criticised for not suspending all events going forward and per The Score he took to Instagram Live to vent.

"Go online and look at some of these people - and this isn't a knock, this is just a fact: The weakest, wimpiest people on Earth cover the biggest, baddest sport on Earth," White begun.

"What do you expect them to say? What do you think they're gonna say?"

The 50-year-old added: "Listen, the media can talk as much sh*t as they want. They don't feed families. They don't take care of fu**ing people. They don't have people that count on them.

"They don't have people to support. We're doing the right thing as far as medical testing goes and everything. That's all we fu**ing do. That's nothing new. We were doing that shit way before the coronavirus."

White also explained that the UFC will be the sport that snaps back to normal when the pandemic eventually dies down.

"Here's the reality: We will be up and running before any other sport will.

"Our sport's different. We have our own arena next door (UFC Apex).

"Every fighter that fights for me will fight three times this year," he continued. "Our schedule will go on. Everybody's gonna get paid, and we will figure this out, and we will be the first sport back on."

Although Khabib vs Tony won't be taking place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, White explained that he'll follow all guidelines set by US President Donald Trump when setting up the lightweight title fight.

He explained to ESPN per The Sun: "We're gonna follow these guidelines to not have more than 10 people in a room and we're hoping that this all clears up by April.

"This fight's going to happen, no crowd, whatever it takes. [It's] probably not going to even be in the United States but this fight's going to happen."

Do you think Khabib vs Tony will take place on April 18 and if so, where?
