Conor McGregor has told Dana White to "stop lying" after the UFC president attacked him for sharing their private messages online.

'The Notorious' shared a string of direct messages between the pair on Friday before dropping the bombshell that he was boxing Manny Pacquiao in the near future.

White responded following UFC 253 on Saturday night and condemned McGregor's posts as "dirtiest thing you can do."

McGregor took to Twitter again on Sunday afternoon to continue the war of words and he went in hard on his former boss.

"Code was broke when you lied about me turning down fights mate," McGregor begun. "I said Justin [Gaethje] in May and you went and said I did not want to fight. It's not about Diego [Sanchez.] Diego was a filler to get more fights in."

The former 'Champ-champ' then claimed White is involved with his potential clash with Pacquiao - despite White telling reporters he had "no idea" of the fight.

"Also you have been involved in Manny talks the legal letters are there. Stop lying."

White had insisted McGregor broke a "man code" by sharing their personal business online.

"Everybody here knows - even the ladies - this is some man code stuff," the 51-year-old said per Bloody Elbow.

"It's just something you don't do. It's one of the dirtiest things you can do, because we were just talking about Diego Sanchez. And Diego Sanchez is in there in a private conversation I was having with Conor.

"When you're the number two or three-ranked guy in the world, and you're telling me that you want to fight, but you want to fight unranked, 39-year-old Diego Sanchez in a main event in Los Angeles..."
