UFC released never-before-seen footage of Conor McGregor reacting to the infamous UFC 229 post-fight brawl with Khabib Nurmagomedov prior to his incredible comeback against Donald Cerrone.
McGregor made a triumphant Octagon return when he destroyed 'Cowboy' in just 40 seconds at UFC 246 in January.

And in the build-up to his comeback fight, UFC shared rare footage of McGregor backstage after the mayhem following his submission defeat to Nurmagomedov in October 2018.
'UFC 246 Countdown' featured Nurmagomedov tapping out McGregor then launching himself into his opponent's corner and the brawl itself before moving onto fascinating clips of the Irishman.

The footage shows a dejected McGregor being led away by security. He then puts his head in his hands before being consoled by a teammate in the dressing room.

A rematch between Nurmagomedov and McGregor has been mooted but the former 'double-champ' will have to wait for his shot at UFC gold due to the coronavirus crisis.

But that hasn't stopped 'The Notorious' from taking a swipe at his rival. He took to social media to aim a dig at Nurmagomedov after he withdrew from UFC 249 as a result of the travel restrictions in Russia amid the global pandemic.
"The fact of this matter is, both Tony and Khabib where engaged in a game of chicken here towards the fight bell. With Khabib chickening out first. Making it 3-2 in pullouts in Tony's favour. Khab scurried out of the U.S to home, and amid the crisis. Very high risk. Congrats Tony," he wrote on Twitter.
