Nate Diaz Reacts To Jorge Masvidal Fighting Kamaru Usman At UFC 251

Nate Diaz approves the new UFC 251 main-event after Jorge Masvidal sensationally replaced Gilbert Burns to face Kamaru Usman.

The blockbuster UFC welterweight title clash between Usman and Masvidal is official for UFC 251 this Saturday on 'Fight Island'.

'Gamebred' takes the fight on six days' notice following Burns' positive COVID-19 test.

Social media erupted when UFC made the bout official with Masvidal's former foe Diaz weighing in on the championship contest.

On Twitter, he wrote: "Real fights are better fights."

Diaz's tweet didn't go down too well with Burns who slammed the Stockton slugger.

He hit back, saying: "Real? I would maul you! I will out grapple you and out box you.. and I slap you up don't talk abt real."

Burns was set to meet Usman at UFC 251 before testing positive for the coronavirus.

As a result, the UFC went back to Masvidal who was originally supposed to face 'The Nigerian Nightmare' before failing to strike a deal with Dana White.

But after agreeing terms, the Miami star will fight for the UFC title for the first time in his storied career.

Both Usman and Masvidal are due to fly to Abu Dhabi then take a COVID-19 test upon landing.
