Nate Diaz Aims A Brutal Dig At Khabib Nurmagomedov And Leon Edwards: "Don't Get Punked Ever"

Diaz took a shot at Nurmagomedov and Edwards in a post on social media.

Nate Diaz has fired back at Leon Edwards over his BMF claim and aimed a dig at UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Diaz hit out at welterweight contender Edwards and UFC lightweight title holder Nurmagomedov in a savage post on social media.

He slammed Edwards for calling out Jorge Masvidal then took a shot at "kabob" - saying they both got beat up backstage.

On Twitter, he wrote: "You got f**ked up in the back for acting like you were tight.

"This fight sh*t is the same everywere, in or out of the cage... don't get punked ever. That goes for kabob also, you guys are in last place now lol."

Of course, Diaz is referring to Edwards' run in with Masvidal at UFC London last year and the post-fight brawl between Team Nurmagomedov and Team McGregor following UFC 229 in October 2018.

Masvidal also chimed in, reacting with a couple of laughing face emojis on Instagram.

Edwards is clearly frustrated with being overlooked in the division. He's on an eight-fight winning streak, but hasn't got a fight lined up.

He was supposed to face Tyron Woodley in March before the coronavirus pandemic cancelled the bout.

Diaz, on the other hand, is set to rematch Masvidal for the BMF title with the UFC interested in running it back following their showdown last November.

The Stockton slugger hasn't fought since his defeat to 'Gamebred' at UFC 244.

Masvidal returned to action in July when he lost a lopsided decision to UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman.

As for Nurmagomedov, he's set to defend his UFC lightweight title against interim champion Justin Gaethje at UFC 254.
