And ahead of his UFC 246 return fight, the Irishman fielded questions from the media. He was asked about possible future fights with the 31-year-old declaring his interest in fighting both Jorge Masvidal and Usman.

But he's not all that excited about a potential clash with 'The Nigerian Nightmare', savagely branding his style as "the sniff-the-jockstrap".

Speaking on Wednesday, he said: "That's an interesting one, what would I be interested in more - I'd take both.

"I would like that bad motherf**ker title, that belt, then I'd like the gold.

"For me, the gold has a bit more significance to it, especially since the way the 'BMF' fight finished. I thought we were robbed of a classic contest there. I thought it was only kicking into gear rounds 4 and 5. But they're both exciting bouts.

"I'd say probably the more exciting of the bouts would probably be myself versus Jorge, from a stylistic standpoint. Usman kind of has the similar style of Khabib [Nurmagomedov], the sniff-the-jockstrap style," he added.

McGregor also said "never say never" regarding a potential rematch with Jose Aldo.

"I don't know. I'm in a great spot not having to cut weight right now," he said while laughing.

"It's easy for me to say oh yeah, I'll do it but cutting weight, it's tough. Like I said, that's why I had immense respect for Jose [Aldo]. I knew the media was saying he's cutting too much weight, and this that and the other, but I knew by his physique and his body that he put immense work into that.

"I have an understanding because I know what it feels like. I'll never say never."

'The Notorious' would welcome a trilogy bout with Nate Diaz, too.

"Nate Diaz was a hell of a competitor, we can still compete that trilogy," he said.
