Conor McGregor's next fight will be against Khabib Nurmagomedov if he wins at UFC 257, says Dana White.
McGregor returns to action in less than a month as he rematches Dustin Poirier on 'Fight Island' in Abu Dhabi.

And he could be set for another rematch if he comes out victorious on January 23.
White has revealed that "in a perfect world" McGregor will renew his rivalry with Nurmagomedov in the Octagon.
Of course, 'The Eagle' is currently retired after walking away from the promotion following his victory over Justin Gaethje at UFC 254.

"When I fly out there, Khabib's going to be there, too. So, I'm going to meet with Khabib while I'm there," he said.
"In a perfect world, if Conor wins this fight, I would love to see the rematch with him and Khabib. It's the fight that makes sense."

There's still bad blood between them with a second meeting mooted.
And it appears 'The Notorious' could be in line to run it back with his nemesis if he can get past Poirier.
On McGregor vs. Poirier 2, White said: "Poirier has wanted this fight so bad since the first one, and obviously neither one of these guys are the same fighters they were the first time they fought.

"It's a very interesting fight. Conor's been off for a while, but if you look at his training right now he looks damn good.
"He's in great shape. Poirier's in great shape. Could be a fun one."
