Conor McGregor was likely 'out of his mind' on 'pain pills' in his altercation with Machine Gun Kelly, says UFC legend Michael Bisping.

McGregor and Kelly had to be separated at the MTV Video Music Awards in Brooklyn on Sunday.
UFC president Dana White has since brushed off the incident, saying he's not concerned with the behaviour of the Irish superstar.

Former UFC middleweight champion Bisping, meanwhile, has come up with his own theory as to why McGregor exploded at the red carpet event.
He reckons the 33-year-old was heavily medicated as he recovers from his broken leg suffered in his last Octagon outing.
"What I mean is that I've had surgery, and the medication that they give you, you lose your f**king mind."
Bisping added: "I think a lot of that was (Sunday) because he was out of his mind, on the pain pills because that's how it goes.
"They make you very f**king antsy, very erratic, very angry. Me and Callum, Callum is the calmest kid ever.
"Callum was f**king arguing with everything I was saying when he had surgery.
"They kind of make you like that. I don't know. I'm not making excuses for him, but just from what I saw, I was like, 'Yeah, I've had that feeling before.'"
McGregor is on the road to recovery as he vows to return to action following his second defeat to Dustin Poirier.
