Conor McGregor posted damning throwback footage of him landing a punch on Khabib Nurmagomedov's teammate during the infamous brawl at UFC 229.
McGregor aimed a brutal dig at Nurmagomedov's team ahead of the UFC lightweight champion's title showdown against Justin Gaethje next weekend.

He shared a clip of him hitting Nurmagomedov's training partner, accompanied with the caption: "Silly fool, I could smell that hat a mile away."
The Irishman's post sent social media wild with many of his entourage reacting.

Former UFC fighter and McGregor's sparring partner Cathal Pendred wrote: "Slipping papakhas like they're going out of fashion."
'The Notorious' also shared another video of the brawl earlier in the week.
"Unlucky lads," he wrote, with a clip of the post-fight clashes.

But the undefeated Russian star says he wouldn't coach TUF against McGregor even if the UFC gave him $5 billion.
"This Ultimate Fighter with him?" The 28-0 fighter said. "This is good attention for him. I don't want to give him this. I never give him this.
"Even if they gave me 5 billion dollar - even if they give me UFC (ownership) - I'll never do this.

"This is good attention for him. It's done - everything is done. (On) October 6, I finished him and I finished everything about him."
Meanwhile, McGregor, whose only fought once this year, is set to return to the Octagon against Dustin Poirier on January 23 after accepting White's offer on social media.
As for Nurmagomedov, the UFC lightweight king will defend his title against interim champion Gaethje at UFC 254.
