The pair of UFC stars squared off in an intense moment as they went head-to-head, but 'The Diamond' broke the tension with a classy gesture.

He handed McGregor a bottle of his own Louisiana-style hot sauce which prompted a humble embrace with 'The Notorious'.

Another clip showed what was said between them on stage.

McGregor said: "Let's do it for them, let's do it," while Poirier responded: "We will. I guarantee it."
