Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov were both at the World Cup final in Moscow, Russia.
We hope security is on hand at the Luzhniki Stadium.
The rivalry between McGregor and Nurmagomedov has been simmering nicely following a slew of taunts ahead of a potential mega-fight.

Though their feud culminated in Brooklyn as McGregor attacked a bus carrying fighters, attempting to get at Nurmagomedov who approached his teammate, Artem Lobov, during UFC 223 fight week.
To cut a long story short; McGregor smashed up a bus courtesy of a dolly (!!) and is now set to appear at court awaiting his punishment for the mayhem he caused.
Anyway, UFC president Dana White is hellbent on matching up the pair of lethal lightweights and while he might not be in Russia, he may want to keep an eye on events over there.

Could this interesting outing be a potential scouting mission for a possible venue? Because according to White, the Irishman is even willing to fight him in Russia.
"You know what Conor told me? He said, 'I want Khabib in Russia,'" said White prior to McGregor boxing Floyd Mayweather.
"Isn't he (expletive) awesome? He's like, 'I want Khabib, in Russia.' He's awesome. Conor McGregor is a (expletive) unicorn. There's nothing like him.
"He's working on boxing Floyd Mayweather and then he's talking about fighting Khabib in Russia right after."

Sure, those comments are from 2017 but McGregor is a mad man so he's probably still up for that crazy challenge.
McGregor, who hasn't fought inside the famed Octagon since 2016, has since boxed Mayweather and been involved in a high-profile incident. It's only making his return even more anticipated.

He also dropped a cryptic Tweet, posting a video titled: "My Russian compound is taking shape."
