Khabib Nurmagomedov's manager Ali Abdelaziz has branded Conor McGregor a "jealous prostitute" for his claim about the UFC lightweight champion.

McGregor called out his old enemy for withdrawing from his UFC 249 bout against Tony Ferguson.

"With Khabib chickening out first. Making it 3-2 in pullouts in Tony's favour. Khab scurried out of the U.S to home, and amid the crisis. Very high risk. Congrats Tony," McGregor wrote on social media in wake of Nurmagomedov vs. Ferguson falling through for the fifth time.

His comment wasn't very well received by Abdelaziz who pulled no punches during a furious rant.

"You're telling everybody to stay home, now Khabib -- the government of Russia says he can't travel, you're going to call him a chicken?! [Conor] doesn't matter," he explained to TMZ Sports.

"[Conor is not] #1, he's not #2, he's not #3. It's Khabib, Justin, Tony. [Conor is] #4. He's not even in the conversation right now. He's just like a jealous prostitute, she's got too old for her to make money.

"Why don't you even jump on a plane and come fight Tony Ferguson? I bet he understands that Tony Ferguson would beat his ass too. All those 3 guys would beat his ass. Justin, Tony and Khabib."

Abdelaziz also manages Justin Gaethje whose replaced Nurmagomedov to face Ferguson at UFC 249, and he believes everyone who'll be involved on April 18 is in safe hands.

"UFC for the last 20 years they set a standard about testing medical procedures. There's never been a death or a serious injury to happen in the UFC," he added.

"I have no doubt in my mind they are going to take every precaution to make sure everyone's safe."

The interim-UFC lightweight title fight between Ferguson and Gaethje headlines UFC 249 which is slated to take place at the Tachi Palace Resort Casino in California.
