The unification bout will headline a stacked card with Tony Ferguson, Robert Whittaker, Yair Rodriguez and Rafael dos Anjos all reportedly set to feature.
According to Nurmagomedov's post on social media, Ferguson will face Dustin Poirier in the co-main event with Whittaker colliding with Jared Cannonier.
A massive featherweight clash between Rodriguez and Zabit Magomedsharipov will also be part of the main-card not to mention a lightweight tussle between Dos Anjos and Islam Makhachev.
Nurmagomedov shared a photoshopped image of the card, accompanied with the caption: "2 champion, 4 former champion, 4 title challengers.
"How do you like this card with full of killers. Best card of the year."

Needless to say, the UFC star's tweet sent social media wild.
One Twitter user wrote: "Best card of all time no debate!"
A second tweeted: "Maybe the single most talented card the UFC has ever produced."
A third added: "Biggest card since Conor Khabib."
He was supposed to meet Ferguson at UFC 249 in April until the coronavirus pandemic prevented him from leaving Russia.
Gaethje replaced Nurmagomedov and stopped Ferguson to claim the UFC interim lightweight title.
The undefeated Dagestan fighter will now take on 'The Highlight' to unify the UFC lightweight titles.
The highly-anticipated title showdown tops a massive UFC bill next month.
