Khabib Nurmagomedov's younger cousin Umar is set to make his UFC debut on 'Fight Island' next month per his manager.

Umar Nurmagomedov has been a part of Khabib's entourage for a number of years and UFC confirmed his signing on back in February.
The 24-year-old bantamweight has an impressive 12-0 record in his career and is currently scheduled to face Nathaniel Wood at the July 25 'Fight Night' event.
Speaking to Championa per RT.com about Umar's debut, manager Rizvan Magomedov simply stated 'July, Fight Island.'

Umar was in line to appear on the original card of UFC 249, which was slated to see Khabib take on Tony Ferguson in the main event.
But the coronavirus pandemic brought the UFC to a standstill temporarily as well as major changes to the UFC 249 card.
Highlights from Umar's previous fights show that the youngster has impressive mat skills as well as promising striking.

Five of his 12 professional wins have come via submission, six via judges' decision with a single knock out victory.
His most recent step into the octagon came when he defended his bantamweight title against Braian Gonzalaz at Gorilla Fighting Championship 20.
Gonzalez won't have known what hit him after Umar secured a first-round victory following a rear naked choke submission.
Fans on YouTube have praised the younger Nurmagomedov for his promise and think he's destined for a solid UFC career.

While Umar may be set to fly out to Yas Island next month, Khabib likely won't be back in the octagon till September.
The lightweight champion is reportedly in negotiations to face Justin Gaethje in a huge undisputed title match at UFC 253.
