Khabib Nurmagomedov Gives His Prediction For Conor McGregor Vs. Justin Gaethje
Khabib Nurmagomedov believes a potential UFC clash between Conor McGregor and Justin Gaethje is a genuine 50/50 fight.
Nurmagomedov makes the third defence of his UFC lightweight title next month at UFC 249 when he takes on No.1 contender Tony Ferguson.
And a blockbuster rematch with McGregor could be on the cards following the Irishman's stunning victory over Donald Cerrone in January.
But Team Nurmagomedov are holding out for McGregor vs. Gaethje, and the 155lb king is unsure who comes out victorious if they fought.
"Justin Gaethje and Conor, it's a hard question," the undefeated Dagestan fighter said.
"My opinion, I want Justin Gaethje, but I think (it's) 50/50. I think you guys think (it's) 50/50, too. Because it's going to be stand-up fight, Justin is good, Conor is good on the standup, and I think it's going to be 50/50.
"Justin Gaethje is one of the best lightweights in the world, of course," he added. "Anyone in the top of the lightweight division is going to be hard.

"You have to believe this. You have to believe you can become champion one day. If not, why do you train? I respect his mind, I respect how he thinks, and I respect he want to show his skill, and he want to challenge himself. You have to."
McGregor is in line to rematch Nurmagomedov, but Gaethje wants a showdown with the former UFC double champion.
"I think I put myself in a great position to fight for a world title, to try to be the best in the world," the No.4 lightweight fighter explained.
"If Conor wants to go past me, he has to go through me.
"I think that's the only way to legitimise the process and make it right. I think that's the fight."
